EXO member Kai is not only burning the stage but also the pages of the latest issue of W Korea Magazine. The K-pop idol has graced the pages of the magazine for the autumn issue this month.
The photos were all taken in a studio and Kai is seen clad in Gucci apparels in every snap. The new mag cover was released in time for the announcement from Gucci that the EXO member has been appointed as their first-ever Korean global ambassador.
The K-pop idol now joined the ranks of Gucci endorsers such as One Direction Harry Styles, Chinese actress Ni Ni, and more. As Gucci ambassador, Kai will be featured in the released Gucci fall/winter 2019 eyewear campaign.
"The expression on a person's face has the fascinating power to elicit a variety of imaginary reactions, giving off the message of a belief in your individual power. In each of the photos, the ambassadors freely express their own beliefs, values, and individuality with their own story," E! News quoted Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele as saying about the recent announcement of their global ambassador.
Aside from magazine cover, W Korea also released a video of Kai while doing the "contemporary dance" concept of the photoshoot.
It also shared a throwback cover of Kai when he was also featured in the magazine for Gucci almost a year ago. The 2018 photoshoot of Kai gave a perfect autumn vibe as he showed off his chiseled physique.
Meanwhile, while promoting a luxury fashion brand, Kai is also busy preparing for the debut of SM Entertainment's new boy group, SuperM. The new K-pop group is consists of EXO members Kai and Baekhyun, SHINee's Taemin, and NCT members Mark, Taeyong, Ten, and Lucas.
SuperM had filmed their debut music video in Dubai last month. Some of the members have also released individual teasers. The latest of which is Mark. The group has also opened up an online store for their merchandise that includes Augmented Reality (AR) T-shirts of each member, hats, hoodies, and more.
The members also recently took to Instagram Live to chat with their fans and to reveal who they choose to be the group's leader. They have also shared their reactions about their group's name, the choreography for their debut track, and their first impression to the other members. At the end of the broadcast, the members choose Baekhyun as the group leader which the latter happily accepted.
Kai and the rest of SuperM are set to release their first mini-album on October 4. SM Entertainment earlier announced that the new group would also be making a debut in the U.S. next month.
