Queen Elizabeth is apparently growing concern that she may never see her great-grandson, Archie Harrison, ever again. The son of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who is now 10 months old, has been staying in Vancouver since November 2019.

Sources revealed via Us Weekly that the Queen is heartbroken about not seeing Archie as often as she wanted. It comes as reports revealed that the baby will not be flying back to London with Meghan this week.

The Queen is reportedly eager to have a relationship with her great-grandson. With recent developments in the royal family, however, Her Majesty is apparently worried that this will never happen, the source said.

Back when Prince Harry and Meghan still lived in Frogmore Cottage, the Queen apparently frequently saw Archie, who was then only a few months old, since she lived nearby at Windsor Castle. But Prince Harry and Meghan have decided to step back from their royal life and spend half of their time in North America.

It's unclear if Queen Elizabeth discussed her concerns about Archie with Prince Harry during their four-hour lunch in Windsor last Sunday, March 1. The casual meeting apparently cleared the air between the two royals amid reports of Queen Elizabeth's disappointment with the Sussex royals' decision to withdraw from their public duties.

Sources said, however, that Queen Elizabeth is supportive of Prince Harry and Meghan's choice to step back from the royal limelight. Friends of Prince Harry said that he is doing this for Archie's protection, amid the prying British press.

Meanwhile, as Prince Harry and Meghan do their last rounds of royal engagements in London, who could likely be taking care of Archie in Vancouver? According to Hello! the Sussex couple have a nanny who has been with them since August.

Archie's nanny has never been identified as per Prince Harry and Meghan's wishes to protect her privacy. The nanny was apparently photographed when the Sussex family visited Elton John last summer. She was also with the family when they went on their royal tour of South Africa in October with their son.

Prince Harry and Meghan hired her after they had a night nurse and a first hire who didn't stay long with the family. Back in London, Archie's nanny does not live in Frogmore Cottage but she is a full-time help.

Aside from the nanny, Meghan's best friend Jessica Mulroney also checks up on Archie from time to time since she is based in Canada. Doria Ragland, Meghan's mom, also took care of Archie during her visits to the Sussex household.
