Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have renewed their friendship and they remain as good pals up to this day. However, tabloids continued to create speculations that the two have rekindled the old flame and now, Demi Moore's name has been added to their supposed love story.
New Idea published a story claiming Pitt and Moore recently crossed paths in Paris. The two allegedly ended up joining tables at a restaurant in the city and stayed for coffee after their friends left.
The tabloid source claimed the two spent the night laughing about how unlucky they are when it comes to their love lives. Aniston allegedly found out about the said meeting and was "furious and devastated" about it.
The insider did not stop there and added that the Friends actress confronted Moore. Jen allegedly accused the G.I. Jane actress of betraying her since they have been friends for years.
Then the source claimed Aniston is convinced that Pitt is catching up and getting close to Moore as a revenge to her. Brad allegedly got jealous when The Morning Show actress had dinner with her ex John Mayer last month.
Gossip Cop dismissed the story as pure speculation. The publication checked in on Aniston's spokesperson, who confirmed that the actress never got furious over an imaginary date between Pitt and Moore.
Gossip Cop also noted that New Idea could have thought of inventing a story since both Brad and Demi were in Paris in February. Ashton Kutcher's ex attended Paris Fashion Week.
As for Brad, it's unclear why the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood actor was in the city. He wasn't seen at any events of the Fashion Week and was not also spotted with Moore.
On the allegation of revenge, Pitt doesn't seem to have reason to get jealous of anybody that Jen hangs out with. Both Brad and Jen have admitted in their separate interviews in the past that they are not dating anyone at the moment. Moreover, Aniston was with her friends, Andy Cohen and Jason Bateman's wife Amanda Anka, when she met up with Mayer in Los Angeles last month.
The dating rumor between Aniston and the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer emerged last month. Gossip Cop also debunked the said story.
The site also took note that the New Idea story was almost similar to the NW article last month. NW claimed in its story that Pitt warned Mayer to stay away from his ex-wife. In the New Idea story, it claimed Jen confronts Moore about her alleged secret date with the Ad Astra actor.
