Brunei Darussalam, Mongolia, Cyprus, Guernsey, and Panama reported their first cases of COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, according to the latest situation reports released by the World Health Organization.

Globally, there are now 113,702 total confirmed cases as of Tuesday night. Within the past 24 hours, there are 4,125 new cases. The total number of death tolls is 4012 with 203 new fatalities as of March 10.  

The number of cases in China continues to slow down with only 20 new cases and 17 new deaths in the past 24 hours. The Asian country now has a total of 80,924 confirmed cases and 3,140 deaths. 

Outside of China, there are 32,778 confirmed cases. In the past 24 hours, there are 4,105 new cases reported; the number of deaths is 872 in total, with 186 recent fatalities.

Brunei reported a total of six new cases on March 10 with the five patients reported a day after the kingdom's very first case. The first patient is a 53-year-old, a local in Brunei, who tested positive after coming from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The five new patients had all direct contact with the patient. All patients are placed in isolation and are showing strong signs of recovery. 

Mongolia's first case of infection is a French national working in the country. A patient is a 57-year-old man who traveled from France through Moscow. The Mongolian government is now screening 42 other people with interactions with the patient and another 200 more people who had close contact with the man. The patient is in stable condition.

Cyprus closed all schools in its capital and advised against holding mass and public gatherings. It placed two major hospitals on lockdown to stop the virus from spreading further into the country. These measures were implemented after Cyrpus confirmed three people positive with COVID-19. The country's very first case is a 65-year-old German woman. The second patient is a chief heart surgeon who works at the country's major hospital.      

Guernsey's first confirmed case is a patient who returned from Tenerife. The local government has since required anyone returning from Tenerife to stay indoors and contact local helplines if suddenly felt sick.  

A Panamian woman who returned from Madrid became the country's first case of COVID-19 infections. Spain is one of the four European countries with more than 1,000 cases of infection. The 40-year-old woman has been placed in quarantine instead of being treated in a hospital. She will be visited by health workers every day.
