Prince Edward has been making it into the headlines recently. Throughout the years, the Queen's youngest son, along with his wife, Sophie, has been living a peaceful and quiet life away from the spotlight of the British Royal Family.

But, after the Sussex couple's announcement revealing their decisions to quit the royal life, the Earl and the Countess have been increasingly becoming more visible before the public. This is why several speculations have been made claiming that the Wessex couple will be the ones to replace the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry within the British Monarchy.

Earlier this week, Prince Edward has become the center again of many reports. As per Express UK, he has been largely "praised" by the royal fans and supporters as he seemingly eased the "visible tension" among the original royal "Fab Four" during the Commonwealth Day service on Sunday.

It is worth noting that this was the first time that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen together with Prince William and Kate Middleton in public since Megxit was announced. Based on the general reception, several reports claimed that the two couples seemed to have "ignored" each other during the event.

The publication continued to share that several royal experts and commentators also mentioned that the "awkwardness" between the two couples became even more apparent because of their seating arrangements. As it happened, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sat in front of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Thankfully, though, Prince Edward and Sophie, the Countess of Wessex were reportedly beside the Sussexes allowing the tension to be eased. It was said that the Earl of Wessex took time to converse with both of the couples as they all waited for the arrival of Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.

In a similar scoop released by Daily Mirror UK, it was reported that many royal watchers deemed Prince Edward "cool" after witnessing his "giggles" with both of the couples. Some even said that the Earl "avoided" a "potentially tricky" scenario during the service.

The same publication also mentioned that several individuals took their thoughts on social media about the youngest son of the Queen. The majority of the comments and statements made toward Prince Edward was all "positive" since he reportedly brought the needed "good vibes" between the Sussexes and Cambridges.

The Commonwealth Day service served as the last royal engagement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle before they fully cease to represent the Queen and the Monarchy. They will allegedly fly back to Canada sometime after March 31 when the Megxit deal officially emerges.
