Meghan Markle started her career in the entertainment world as a Deal or No Deal briefcase model. She then landed the role of Rachel Zane in Suits. Now, the former Hollywood star is the wife of a real-life Prince.

Thomas Markle Jr. revealed that his sister had always wanted to be a princess. He shared that Meghan Markle always loved Disney princesses.

“Watching her grow up I don't think it was the British Royal Family, it was the princess thing - Cinderella and all that kind of stuff, Beauty and the Beast and all those Disney movies that revolve around being a Princess and a Prince and being swept off your feet,” he said.

Meghan Markle’s brother then pointed out that when his sister was photographed outside Buckingham Palace during a school trip to London in her early teens, that’s probably the moment that she realized that that's the life that she wanted.

“That when she probably set her sights on what she wanted,” Thomas Markle Jr. said. “I mean seeing the palace and Windsor and all that it would just be incredible.” He then joked that Meghan Markle "came up with this devious plan to become an actress and run into Harry in Toronto."

When asked if he thought that Meghan Markle dreamt to be a princess, he said: “Yes, I do.” But then he added that it was “any little girl's dream to become a princess and just be a part of the royal family.”

Thomas Markle Jr. claimed that when Meghan Markle was introduced to Prince Harry by a friend, she decided that he was the one for her.

“I think that was it right there - the highest possible place she could ever get in her life... that was it,” he said. “That was something she was not going to let slip between her fingers and get away.”

Meghan Markle’s brother then described the Duchess of Sussex as someone who is “outspoken and ambitious and a go-getter and she gets what she wants.”

This is not the first time that Meghan Markle was described that way. A royal expert previously said that Prince Harry’s desire to make his wife happy could be damaging to him. Angela Levin said that his choice may come at a cost to himself.

“What Meghan wants, Meghan gets,” she said. “I think to the detriment of Harry.”

The royal commentator then pointed out one of the main reasons why most people don’t like Meghan Markle. “I think it is very unfair to say criticism is racism. I think a lot of the criticism comes about because she lectures the public on how to behave but does not do it herself,” she said.
