It has been two months since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped their bombshell announcement on Instagram. As Prince Harry knew how it was to grow up under the spotlight as the son of the future king and a part of the royal family, his experience incited his decision to step down as a fulltime working senior royal with his wife. In a charity event for Sentebale, the sixth in line to the throne explained their decision to leave the monarchy. They also wanted to divide their time between the U.K. and Canada. He admitted that their choice brought them great sadness as he grew up in Britain.
He even added that the decision they made was not "made lightly," New Idea noted. After a lot of months of talks and so many years of challenges, it seemed like they were left with no other option but to leave.
Since then, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the U.K. for their last official engagement, the Commonwealth Day service in London. At the event, he was holding her hands together as he made his way inside the Westminster Abbey.
Body language expert Blance Cobb revealed it was a clear sign that he was "feeling a little uneasy." As he walked with his wife, and led to their seats, Meghan Markle looked very relaxed, displaying a genuine smile that showed her confidence.
It was also the first time that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met Prince William and Kate Middleton since November 2019. However, the Cambridges seemed to acknowledge the two before they took their seats barely.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now back in Canada, where they will follow a quarantine protocol amidst the coronavirus outbreak. They will be following the rules set by the World Health Organization to flatten the curve of the virus.
