There is little doubt that the Tomorrow X Together members are a close-knit bunch. After all, the idols practically grew up together as trainees before their debut in early 2019. Unfortunately, all of that bonding could sometimes cause the younger members to forget that they are speaking to someone older than them. In the latest episode of TXT's T: Time, Beomgyu and Taehyun got informal while talking to their hyung Yeonjun as they were filming for the music video for their song "Magic Island".
The MV for "Magic Island" is undoubtedly one of the most creative videos made for a Tomorrow X Together song. The epic music video is over 13 minutes long and somehow looks like a short film featuring Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai. In the MV, the TXT members are shown on a train before ending up in a forest where they play with fireworks. In the fantastical conclusion of the video, the idols are featured facing a strong wind which causes them to collapse.
The scene with the strong wind may have been terrifying for fans but it has been revealed to be a fun sequence to shoot for the members of Tomorrow X Together. In the latest episode of T: Time, the idols are shown playing around with the wind machine after the shoot is done. At one point, the boys got so rowdy that Beomgyu shouted for his fellow member Yeonjun. However, instead of going for the formal "Yeonjun-hyung", Choi Beomgyu called the eldest member "Yeonjun-ah" instead.
Not surprisingly, Yeonjun immediately called Beomgyu out for the informal address. However, Choi Yeonjun didn't seem to bothered about it. The TXT members simply laughed about the incident after Choi Beomgyu stated that he didn't know anyone would hear him being informal to his hyung.
Interestingly, Beomgyu isn't the only member of the maknae line who got informal with Yeonjun. While his hyung was shooting his scene with the wind machine, Taehyun shouts, "Choi Yeonjun, hey you!" informally. However, Kang Taehyun immediately switched back to being formal and shouts, "Yeonjun-hyung!" He also apologized to the eldest TXT member while Taehyun was being filmed for his scene.
Tomorrow X Together are currently preparing for their next comeback. Although it was believed that the comeback would be announced in March, fans believe that this has been pushed back due to the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
