The threat of coronavirus has become a lot more serious in recent weeks. With the constant increasing trend of people getting infected and dying, it is no wonder why the public needs the help and assistance of experts. But, recent reports revealed that experts are now asking Kylie Jenner's help to fight coronavirus, especially in the United States.

According to Vanity Fair, the US Surgeon General, Jerome Adams went on ABC's Good Morning America earlier this week. It was said that he "implored" the 22-year-old reality star to help amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

He reportedly believes that getting "influencers" on board to spread awareness that the virus "is serious" and "people are dying" may put on a halt among the younger generations who continue to go out amid the lockdown and quarantine suggestions made by the government and health officials. As it happens, there are still several individuals, especially young ones, who reportedly treats "this period" of social distancing as a "vacation."

In a report made by Refinery29, it was said that many "millennials and Gen-Zers" are "taking advantage" of cheaper flights for the upcoming spring break. Also, several celebrations and events are still being headlined amid the outbreak.

The Surgeon General went on to reveal that recent data shows that younger people, especially ages between 20 and 44, might be more at risk than what everyone thought. Moreover, he explained that the younger generations might be the cause of the further spread to the most vulnerable individuals, which would eventually lead to their ultimate demise.

As added by Page Six, Jerome Adams also mentioned NBA stars, Mitchell Donovan and Kevin Durant, aside from Kylie Jenner. These professional players have been tested positive for COVID-19 recently. He reportedly said that if these people could utilize their "platforms" to spread the message across the younger generations, it will certainly make a huge difference.

He then pointed out that even his two teenage kids would not listen to the advice of the experts. The Surgeon General shared that the more he asks them not to do something, the more they would want to do it. So, he thinks that people like Kylie Jenner might help this current situation.

After speaking on-air, the 22-year-old billionaire mogul went on to her Instagram account and posted a story video. She reportedly asked everyone to "stay inside" as this is the only way to "slow down" the spread of the virus.

While Kylie Jenner made an immediate response to the US General Surgeon by posting Instagram stories, reports said that the celebrity has been already posting tweets these past few days encouraging everyone to "self-quarantine."
