Some people are only able to go back to memory lane with high school pictures and videos. However, Taeyeon is no ordinary person and she proved it when she broke out her old school uniforms and modeled them on social media.
According to a report by All Kpop, the talented singer shared a series of Instagram stories of her visit to her family home in Jeonju where she had a little fun and tried wearing her old school uniforms.
"Because I've come home, I have to try on my school uniforms," she said as she showed off her different school uniforms from high school. Fans were amazed that she was still able to fit into them, saying that most people gained so much weight from the time they were in high school. It seemed that Taeyeon retained her figure from her teenage years.
Fans said that Taeyeon must really be a fairy while others commented that she looked like she was modeling for a uniform company. Others were simply shocked that she was still able to wear them easily.
Fans were happy to see Taeyeon in good spirits after a recent tragedy affected her family. It can be recalled that the singer is taking a brief break to spend time with her family after the untimely demise of her beloved father early this month.
Her father's unexpected death happened on Taeyeon's birthday on March 9. Her dad, reportedly, died because of sudden cardiac arrest.
Her message to her father brought fans to tears as it was well known in the industry how close she was to her dad. She recalled how her dad was always supportive of her passion for music even at a young age and would always take the first step for his daughter.
"Even now, I am sure he is on the move, one step ahead, for all of us. I believe he is looking down on us from a good place and is watching over us. Lastly, I want to thank everyone who has done their best and shown their concern for me, and dad! I, Taeyeon, love you so very much," she said.
Taeyeon delayed the release of her upcoming single, Happy which was originally slated to release on March 9.
"We ask fans who were waiting for the new release for their understanding. We will provide an announcement later regarding the plans for the song's release," SM Entertainment assured her fans.
