Jin is the official visual of BTS. In fact, his extremely good looks was his ticket to the K-pop world.
ARMYs know that Jin was scouted not because of his vocal or dancing skills, but because of his face. The performer that he has become now is a result of his hard work and perseverance.
Unlike the rest of the BTS boys who were already linked to the music world through their singing, dancing, and producing, Jin was an acting major student at Konkuk University. That being said, being a K-pop idol was most probably not on his top goal at the time.
However, when the opportunity came, Jin didn’t waste it and chose to make the most out of it. Despite not having a vocal and dance background, the BTS star managed to become an amazing performer, and one idol trainer recognized it.
“His skill should not be called as a leaping level, but should be nominated as a revolution,“ he said. “I reckon Jin must get all the patting on the back in the BTS members. Let’s also talk about the reason why Kin’s quantum leap is phenomenal and astonishing.”
The idol trainer then checked out an old video of BTS dance practice and focused on Jin’s dancing. He pointed out that the BTS star was “awkward” and “unnatural.” He then proceeded to Jin’s recent performance in BTS's latest hit “On.”
“Right now, his improvement can not be denied!” the trainer said. “His total dance line is in the right proportion… Maybe one should be proud of how he’s grown!”
ARMYs have seen BTS from their rookie days to being the biggest boy group on the planet. So if there are people who would notice Jin’s improvement in dancing, it is the fans.
“I know that everyone in Bangtan works really hard,” one ARMY commented. “But the moment I knew Jin is coming from a film background and attending university at the same time, I knew that he's the most hardworker amongst them. Moreover, he's the oldest, without dancing or singing background and made a debut in a boy group with the best dancers, singers, and rappers, I can imagine the stress. He worked in silence and kept a cool attitude to the members. He doesn't need someone's approval to tell that he's working hard. That's why he is my ultimate bias, he proves to everyone that yes you can do whatever you want if you put your mind on it. Truly an inspiration! Mad respect for Jin!”
