Kang Daniel recently went under hypnotherapy to discover what he was in his past life and it turns out he may have been part of a royal family.

According to a report by All Kpop, part of Kang Daniel's comeback special entitled Kang Daniel Comeback Show - CYAN showed the Kpop idol undergoing hypnotherapy to regress to his past life.

Kang Daniel described what he saw during the period, what he was wearing and doing. He said that he may have been the king's older cousin.

"I'm a man on an island. I look a little different than I do now. I think I'm in my mid-30s. My name is Wayne. I think it's before the year 1000. I think I'm a high-ranking soldier who's protecting an extremely large castle. I think I'm the king's older cousin," he said.

Kang Daniel also described how he remembered his death. He said that he died in his mid 30s. He said that he and his younger sister were being pursued along a ravine and that he was able to put his sister in a boat before he resumed running. He said he was eventually hit by an arrow on the neck.

He also said that he also remembered one of his past lives where he was a brown owl. He said he enjoyed the freedom of flying in the mountains.

Kang Daniel made a comeback with the new mini album Cyan which was released two hours before his comeback showcase aired over Mnet and M2 on March 24.

This came as good news for his fans who worried about him when he announced his hiatus late last year to focus on mental health. Daniel was diagnosed with depression and anxiety.

In his message, he said that despite the challenges presented by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in South Korea, he still wanted to push through with his comeback as a means to thank his Danity fandom and uplift their spirits."

I always say this to DANITY [fandom name], but the most important thing is that everyone stay healthy. Health is the most important thing. Because of the current situation, I can't say that this is the ideal time for a comeback, but there are a lot of things I wanted to show this year, so I decided to keep going as scheduled. Everyone is trying to endure this difficult time right now, and I hope that my album can give a little bit of positive energy to them," he said.
