Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's wedding got pushed back because of the global coronavirus pandemic. But according to one tabloid, the "Roar" singer is relieved that she doesn't have to exchange vows with the Lord of the Rings actor.

Life & Style published a story this week claiming Perry is secretly grateful that her June wedding with Bloom got pushed back. The tabloid source claimed Katy and Orlando's wedding has been postponed at first after the couple announced that the singer is pregnant with their first baby together.

Then, it was delayed again because of the COVID-19 outbreak across the globe. This allegedly made Perry think twice if she wants to get married to Bloom.

"She can't help wondering if it's a sign from God that Orlando isn't the one. Some friends think she's secretly relieved to have called the wedding off," the source claimed.

Gossip Cop debunked the claims of Life & Style. The publication noted that the couple didn't postpone their wedding in Japan in June because the "Firework" hitmaker is pregnant.

A source of People Magazine earlier shared that Katy is thrilled to walk down the aisle pregnant. This only means that the couple has no plan to get married after she gives birth to their child.

HollywoodLife also reported that the couple is determined to tie the knot even amidst the pandemic. However, due to health experts advise to avoid gatherings, Katy and Orlando are thinking of an alternative to their planned destination wedding in Japan.

The publication cited a source as saying Perry has told her friends that they might have something private at home instead. The couple is reportedly just waiting for the COVID-19 pandemic to get under control as they don't want to pressure their guests into traveling while a virus is killing hundreds of thousands across the globe.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are just two of Hollywood celebrities whose work has been affected by the coronavirus. They recently cut their respective out-of-the-country projects and returned to the U.S. because of the pandemic.

Katy has canceled the rest of her press tour in Australia and returned home on March 12. As for her fiance, the production of Bloom's series, Carnival Row, has been canceled and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor traveled back to the U.S. to self-quarantine himself. His Amazon series is filming in the Czech Republic.
