In a couple of months, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is about to celebrate his first birthday. As early as now, his parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already excited to honor the special event. News emerged that the Sussexes are now planning their only son's celebration and it may be happening in the United Kingdom.
A source told Us Weekly that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex already have big plans for the celebration of Archie's first birthday on May 6. Allegedly, they will be celebrating their son's special day with Queen Elizabeth II at her Balmoral Castle in Scotland.
The insider added that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle already talked to Her Majesty about the celebrations and a picnic on the grounds. With this plan, the monarch is said to be "very excited" for the occasion.
Earlier reports revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were set to spend some time with Queen Elizabeth, along with baby Archie, at Balmoral this summer. However, with the current situation of the coronavirus outbreak and the U.K. lockdown, it remains to be seen if this plan will push through.
Anyhow, the tipster added that Her Royal Highness was eyeing to gift Archie a "beautiful rocking horse." The kid, reportedly, loves animals and gets excited whenever he sees one.
Meghan Markle, on the other hand, wants to have animal-themed cupcakes in one of her kid's planned parties as he also loves nature. Archie, reportedly, loves being outside, which he seems to inherit from his grandfather, Prince Charles, who has a passion for nature. "He gets so excited at seeing all the trees. Now that he's just walking, he's into everything-he'll often end up covered in mud!" the insider revealed.
Aside from the U.K. celebration, there are also plans for Archie's birthday party in North America. Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, and BFFs Jessica Mulroney and Abigail Spencer are said to be invited to stay with them for the weekend to celebrate the occasion.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, reportedly, relocated to Los Angeles, where Doria Ragland also lives, amid the coronavirus outbreak. Sadly, they didn't receive a warm welcome from U.S. President Donald Trump, who quickly addressed their need for security assistance.
In a tweet, the POTUS said that although he is a great friend and admirer of the U.K. and Queen Elizabeth, the U.S. would never pay for their security protection, adding they should be the ones who would pay for it. As a response, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's representative cleared that the couple had no plans to ask for the U.S. government's money to cover their security cost as they would be paying for it privately.
