Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes reportedly broke up, months after they officially launched their relationship last year. With their split, the 52-year-old actor is said to be miserable without his now-ex-girlfriend by her side. Is there any truth about it?
In an upcoming April issue of OK! Magazine, Celebrity Insider noted that the Django: Unchained star regrets the end of his six-year relationship with Tom Cruise's ex-wife. The source even added that although he has "wandering" eyes, he is "downright miserable without her."
"He's been out partying nonstop and flirting with dozens of girls, but it's really just a distraction from the heartbreak," the tipster revealed. "He basically does whatever he wants now that Katie's not around to curb his bad habits."
Katie Holmes, on the other hand, is said to be "hitting it off" with Bradley Cooper. Allegedly, several actors are interested in dating her, and these things even add up on what Jamie Foxx is feeling.
Seeing the 41-year-old actress out and about and looking amazing doesn't help her ex-boyfriend. Hence, they break up is now taking its toll him -- both mentally and physically. However, fans should only take this assumption with a grain of salt as it remains to be seen how they feel about each other or if Jamie Foxx feels miserable without her.
Rumors about Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes' breakup emerged when he was seen holding hands with Sela Vave. However, Harper's Bazaar noted that Foxx denied the malicious assumptions, explaining their relationship was solely that of a "mentor and mentee."
There are also a lot of versions about their breakup. A source told Page Six that trouble about their relationship began after an "early summer lovers' spat." Another insider told People that there was no "ill will between the two," as they were both tough on relationships.
A different tipster told Entertainment Tonight that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes both had different approaches on their relationship. They were both independent in their romance and didn't let their lives revolve around each other. They lived separately and only saw each other occasionally.
So, what's the reason for their split? They were reportedly "both caught up with their own families, careers, and obligations" that they have to end things up between the two of them. Anyhow, neither Jamie Foxx nor Katie Holmes has yet to address or officially confirm their breakup until as of this writing.
