Rumors about Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt never take a rest even as everyone in Hollywood is taking a break due to the coronavirus pandemic. New rumors about the ex-spouses indicated that Aniston broke up with Pitt because of the latter's closeness to Alia Shawkat.

According to Heat, Jen has pressed the pause button in her renewed romance with Brad following the actor's recent outing with Alia. The tabloid alleged the Friends actress is furious that Pitt still shows interest in other women while they recently rekindled their old flame.

"Jen has told Brad that they're on a break until he knows what he wants. She's told him that she's too old to be played, and he's too old to be a player," the Heat source said.

Heat added Jen thinks that spending time apart because of COVID-19 would be a perfect time for both of them to cool things down a bit. Their self-isolation time would also allow the Oscar-winner actor to reflect on what he wants.

Gossip Cop dismissed the rumor outright. The site noted that Aniston and the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor couldn't take a break from each other when they are not back together in the first place.

Pitt and Aniston have indeed renewed friendship but that's all in it. The father-of-six attended some parties that were hosted by Jen at her home. They also had a run-in at SAG Awards earlier this year but nothing happened after that.

As for Shawkat, she and Brad were spotted together recently but they are not dating. The two struck friendship years ago because of their common interest in art. The Ad Astra actor himself denied in the past interview that he is not dating anyone at the moment.

There have been tons of rumors that have been circling around about Brad and Jen since they became friends again, about the decade of their divorce. Aside from this one, there was also recent speculation that the former couple were planning a double wedding with Jen's BFF and Friends co-star Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid. There were also earlier rumors that Brad and Jen are getting married in Mexico.

Pitt's ex-wife Angelina Jolie and their kids have always been added into the supposed romance narrative of Brad and Jen. Earlier rumors indicated that the two are planning to hold their nuptials at Brad and Angelina's Château Miraval in France.

There were also reports that the Fight Club actor and Aniston are planning to adopt a child to give the former's 13-year-old daughter Shiloh a baby sister. Or, Jolie is barring Aniston from meeting her children with Brad.

All of these rumors have been debunked by Gossip Cop. The reps of the actors concerned have also dispelled these speculations.
