Kevin Love has long declared he is ready for new challenges, meaning his playing time at Cleveland could soon be over. The power forward joined the Cavaliers six seasons ago and it has been a fruitful stint so far. Love has an NBA ring to show for and at 31, the California native is looking to add one or two more.

Winning an NBA title is not going to happen in Cleveland in the short term. When Kyrie Irving and LeBron James moved out, the team changed completely and it's now in overhaul mode. Love will be out of place with the Cavs eventually so the best thing to do for the sweet-shooting big man is to bring his business elsewhere.

Fansided agreed that as things stand for Cleveland at the moment, Love's "purpose with the team is decreasing as the franchise looks to rebuild with younger players."

It is therefore recommended for the Cavs front office to trade the team's biggest asset the soonest. The Cleveland star remains impressive with his average production of more than 16 points per game. And he can snipe from a distance, which for interested teams will mean that having Love on the floor opens up possibilities.

"It would be best for the team if they are able to trade him at some point to maximize his value and receive future assets in return," the report pointed out, reminding too that further delays on Love's inevitable move out will only create difficulties later on.

That's because the star has two years to go with the club and his contract demands big money to spend on the receiving team. Adding to the complication is Love's injury history. All these considerations are saying he is a prized acquisition but there are many ifs.

In any case, the next team where Love will possibly land can be narrowed down to one important category - potential title winner. According to Fadeaway World, three candidates come to mind quickly.

The Phoenix Suns, for instance, have a shot at the championship mainly due to DeAndre Ayton. If the big man will get help from Love, and surely he will be quite a boost, then the team can give other contenders a good fight.

The Portland Trail Blazers have been blessed by talents like Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony, and Jusuf Nurkic. There is no doubt the addition of Love will make for a potent upgrade to the club, specifically in the area of points production.

Love can also fit in with the San Antonio Spurs. There, he can join forces with DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge and the Spurs are playing a style of game that might work for the intention of scoring another title before exiting the game.
