Katie Holmes and Justin Theroux have been rumored dating though it wasn't clear if the two are even friends. A tabloid claimed Jennifer Aniston's ex-husband has moved in with the Dawson Creek's actress and the two, allegedly, planning to have a baby together.
NW published a cover story this week with a headline that read, "Katie's dating Jen's ex!" The tabloid's latest claim that Holmes and Theroux have been secretly dating for months now came after over a month ago, it also alleged that the actress is dating Bradley Cooper.
A source of the outlet said Theroux has also moved in with Holmes and her daughter Suri. It added the actress' ticking biological clock was triggered when she saw The Leftovers actor bonded with her daughter.
Theroux, supposedly, has no objection to the idea of having a child with Holmes and they are hoping that the actress would get pregnant soon. Then the tabloid claimed Tom Cruise isn't happy about all of it but Theroux doesn't care about Top Gun actor's opinion.
"Tom let Justin know he feels betrayed...but Justin's not letting it get to him and is focusing on being there for Katie and Suri and hopefully expanding their family as soon as possible," the insider claimed.
Gossip Cop dismissed NW's story, saying it was completely fabricated. Holmes and the Maniac actor are not known to be friends. The publication believed that NW is pairing the two because both have been through highly publicized divorces and not seen dating anyone at the moment.
On the claim that Cruise felt betrayed by his pal Theroux, Gossip Cop noted that there is no evidence that the actors are friends. While Theroux co-wrote the screenplay for Cruise's Tropic Thunder movie, it doesn't look like the two developed a friendship while filming.
It is worthy to note that this is not the first time Holmes and Theroux made it on NW headline stories. In November 2019, the tabloid also published a made-up story that the Ray Donovan actress was pregnant with either Theroux or Jamie Foxx's baby.
Earlier this year, NW also claimed Holmes was dating Bradley Cooper. The outlet alleged that the two crossed paths at a local coffee shop in New York City.
The outlet also inserted a photo of a couple kissing, suggesting it was Bradley and Katie. Gossip Cop debunked the story and clarified that the snap was, in fact, the A Star Is Born actor and his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk.
