Meghan Markle has, reportedly, not yet seen her mother, Doria Ragland, since her big move to Los Angeles with Prince Harry and their son Archie Harrison. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex apparently live just 10 miles away from Doria but they cannot visit her due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sources said that Meghan is heartbroken over the fact that she cannot visit Doria, who is in her '60s. As per health guidelines, those who are above 60 years old are considered vulnerable to the coronavirus. Thus, Meghan and Prince Harry need to exercise care and caution as the virus may be easily transmitted by those who do not show any symptoms.

The source went on to say that Meghan and Doria are getting in touch via FaceTime and WhatsApp. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also using the social apps to make conference calls as they explore their next ventures after stepping back from the royal family.

Prince Harry and Meghan are living around the Pacific Palisades neighborhood between Santa Monica and Malibu. They privately hired a team of bodyguards who are experienced at protecting high profile celebrities like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Madonna and Nicole Kidman.

Meanwhile, Meghan's newest project with Disney, the nature documentary Elephant, is now streaming on the Disney Plus platform. Critics panned Meghan's voiceover narration but it received glorious reviews by actual viewers who posted their reactions on Twitter.

Royal fans said that listening to Meghan tell the tale of a family of elephants was calming. It was as if the Duchess of Sussex was made to voice this movie.

Meghan recorded the Disney documentary in London last October. However, the project has been in the works since 2017 after Prince Harry and Meghan went to Botswana and help out Elephants Without Borders.

Vanity Fair reported that Prince Harry and Meghan went to dinner with the filmmakers Mark Linfield and Vanessa Berlowitz upon their return to Botswana to discuss the project. Berlowitz said that Meghan was "absolutely intrigued and transfixed" by the elephants and their matriarchs.

The filmmakers, however, didn't sign up Meghan as narrator right away. They had to "audition" her for the part by using her voice on her TV show Suits to try it out in some of the scenes of the documentary.

Eventually, however, they did ask the Duchess of Sussex to become part of the documentary. Prince Harry joined her in the studio as she did the recording and she donated her talent fee for the project to Elephants Without Borders.
