Queen Elizabeth proved multiple times that she is an amazing monarch, and she has proven it once again in her coronavirus pandemic message. In a televised speech, Her Majesty thanked frontline NHS staff, care workers, and people who have been helping out during the global health crisis.

Queen Elizabeth’s message was not just to rally against the coronavirus pandemic, but also to give hope for the people. The Royal family, especially Her Majesty, are huge inspirations to the public, which is why her speech meant a lot to many.

"I hope in the years to come everyone will be able to take pride in how they responded to this challenge,” Queen Elizabeth said. "And those who come after us will say that the Britons of this generation were as strong as any. That the attributes of self-discipline, of quiet, good-humored resolve and of fellow feeling still characterize this country.”

Queen Elizabeth then acknowledged the difficulties that the people are dealing with during the coronavirus outbreak, such as “financial difficulties” and “enormous changed.”

“I am speaking to you at what I know is an increasingly challenging time,” Her Majesty continued. “A time of disruption in the life of our country: a disruption that has brought grief to some, financial difficulties to many, and enormous changes to the daily lives of us all."

After seeing her speech, Britons took to social media to praise Queen Elizabeth. Many were moved with her message and got emotional.

"Now that I've stopped crying. #WellMeetAgain just wonderful. How lucky are we to have Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth as our Sovereign,” one tweeted. “Powerful message from the Queen. We are in this together and we will win against the coronavirus,” another one wrote. "HM The Queen. Providing sense in so much uncertainty. What a woman,” one shared.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Queen Elizabeth may celebrate her birthday in lockdown. Her Majesty will turn 94 on April 21. And since she may likely to remain at Windsor Castle for the foreseeable future, the Queen may not be seen in public during her special day, and possibly not even in June when her birthday celebrations usually take place.

Last month, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that Britons are only allowed to leave their homes to buy necessities, for medical needs, travel to or from work if they are unable to work from home, and once a day exercise. This is an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19. The rule should be strictly followed for several weeks.
