Zara Tindall may have always been proud of the fact that she is related to a beloved global icon, with Queen Elizabeth as her grandmother. However, on Sunday, April 5, Zara had a different reason to be proud of the Queen, who gave a rousing speech to rally up the public against beating coronavirus.

In a video interview for Good Morning Britain, Zara said that Queen Elizabeth's public address to comfort the British people in the time of a pandemic was exactly what the country needed. Zara added that she hopes the people will listen to what the Queen said so that, eventually, everyone's lives will go back to normal.

Zara urged the public to be safe and observe the lockdown imposed by the government to protect the medical frontliners amid observations that there are still people going to group gatherings. She is currently at home with her husband, former professional rugby player Mike Tindall, and their children at Gloucester.

The interview actually gave the public a peek into the house of this very private royal. According to Town & Country, there are plenty of empty shelves and unadorned cream-colored walls in the Tindall house. There are also plenty of natural light in their kitchen while splices of photos on the bulletin board are seen from the background.

The avid equestrienne is Queen Elizabeth's eldest granddaughter and the daughter of Princess Anne with her ex-husband Mark Phillips. She was also on the morning show to talk about her fundraising efforts for the hospital workers through her charity.

Like many of the royals, Zara also expressed her gratitude for the healthcare workers who are sacrificing so much of their time and lives to save other people. She also mentioned other care workers who are carrying out essential roles and pressing on with their day-to-day jobs despite the risks because their services are needed by the public.

Recently, there have been concerns that Zara might have contracted COVID-19 as she was at the at the Cheltenham Festival over three weeks ago with her mother and godfather Andrew Parker Bowles. The latter confirmed that he's been sick with coronavirus and believed that he was infected at the said festival.

Parker Bowles was spotted talking to Princess Anne and Zara during the event. Zara also gave her godfather a fatherly kiss and rested her hands on his shoulders while watching the races. The Queen's granddaughter, however, didn't address in the interview if she tested for coronavirus.
