Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a new foundation named Archewell, which will replace their Sussex Royal brand. Royal fans, however, were surprised to see that if they type Archewell Foundation's link online, they would be diverted to a Kanye West video of his 2005 hit song "Gold Digger."

The blunder, which has yet to be corrected by the Sussexes as of press time, was pointed out on social media by eagle-eyed followers. One fan said that it looks like Prince Harry and Meghan have yet to buy the domain rights to ArchewellFoundation.Com even as they have bought the trademark and other details to their new name brand.

In an interview with The Telegraph, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that they have no plans to launch Archewell just yet, amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, they figured it was time to announce the new name since they filed the necessary documents in the U.S. Those documents are accessible to the public, hence Prince Harry and Meghan decided to be the first to reveal the details before someone else beats them to it.

The couple said that they chose the name Archewell because "Arche" is a Greek word that means source of action.  It's also similar to their son's name, Archie. Prince Harry and Meghan said that they want their next new brand to be something that will mean and matter with actual results.

Some people, however, criticized the couple for timing their announcement about Archewell when the world is still grappling with the deadly COVID-19. Their announcement also came along with the news that the U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been moved to the ICU after suffering from COVID-19 symptoms for 10 days.

Royal biographer Phil Dampier called Prince Harry and Meghan's announcement an "appalling timing." The royal expert said that the Sussexes should have laid low until the pandemic is completely over.

The Sussex pair, however, insisted that they will still make the official launch of Archewell "at the right time." They also encouraged for the public to put their focus on taking care of themselves or by helping others amid the coronavirus threat. Prince Harry and Meghan have not yet started their actual work for Archewell since they are still staying put at home in Los Angeles due to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, it's unclear who is behind the redirection of the Archewell Foundation website to the Kanye West video. The rapper himself was a target of an internet prank in 2015 when his Wikipedia page was linked to the website Loser.Com.
