Kate Middleton and Prince William's presence on social media has become a lot more apparent these days, especially now that everyone is working inside their homes. Amid the COVID-19 crisis in the United Kingdom, the Cambridge couple is, reportedly, one of the many individuals who continue to work on their duties and responsibilities despite having to stay at home.

It only makes sense, though, as to why they have become more visible online. But, what makes it quite strange is that their recent post on Instagram seemingly appears to have a different "vibe."

Several individuals have wondered if it is because they are now focused on their social media presence. Others, however, appear to have concluded that this might be due to their new social media manager.

According to People, Kate Middleton and Prince William hired Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's former social media manager. The 27-year-old David Watkins, now, reportedly, works for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

The Sussex couple has recently "signed off" from their social media accounts, especially on Instagram. After their last announcement on March 31, it was said that their former manager's LinkedIn profile appears to have changed its status to "working for" the future King and Queen Consort of the United Kingdom.

As per Marie Claire, it remains unknown when David Watkins started to work for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. But, having him on their team seemingly changed the dynamic of their social media posting.

It was noted that Kate Middleton and Prince William's Instagram account, @KensingtonRoyal's posts recently are becoming more "chill" than the usual. It was also pointed out that the posts now come with "emojis" that are not normally seen on the Cambridge couple's account.

Despite the apparent curiosity, though, Cosmopolitan touched on a related aspect of the narrative. The publication said that this might change the public's perspective about the recent "Insta conspiracy theory" that involved royal Fab four.

In previous months, a conspiracy theory emerged alleging that Kate Middleton and Prince William have been "tinkering" the number of their followers. It was said that the Sussex couple's account never got in par with the Cambridge's no matter how popular they have become.

The publication said that if this is not true, then it is probably the time to see if the @KensingtonRoyal's account will "explode" its following given that Meghan and Harry are no longer in the picture. Not to mention, they already have David Watkins in their team, who is likely the reason behind the Sussex couple's wide following, and reaching it in just a very short period of time.
