Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, won't have a grand celebration of their 15th wedding anniversary. Instead, the royal couple simply commemorated their special day with a current photo taken in Scotland, where they have been isolating since the middle of March.

Despite taking precautions and following government guidelines on social gatherings, some angry Scottish residents are asking the Prince of Wales and his wife to leave Scotland as soon as possible. They want the royals to go back to London, especially after Prince Charles tested positive for COVID-19.

In a post in Instagram, Prince Charles and Camilla indicated that they will be among just their pet dogs for their anniversary. It's unclear how long the royals will stay in Scotland but government directives continue to suggest a limit of movement or travel around the U.K.

However, some fans wrote in the comments of the Instagram post asking the royal couple to leave their Scotland estate because they might be infecting the townsfolk of COVID-19. One comment stated that Prince Charles was wrong to travel to Scotland when he was symptomatic with COVID-19. Another said that they should have celebrated their wedding anniversary in Clarence House in London instead of traveling to their country home.

In mid-March, Prince Charles confirmed that he was tested positive for the coronavirus after he experienced some mild symptoms. Apparently, the NHS in Scotland deemed he could be tested because he was over 70, showing symptoms and had a medical condition.

This angered some locals since Prince Charles could have gotten the test in London and stayed there to get better. The Prince of Wales is now recovered but members of his staff in Scotland, including his wife, had to also go on self-isolation for two weeks.

Meanwhile, despite getting sick with a potentially deadly disease, Prince Charles continued with his royal duties. He was able to touch base with many of his charities through video conferencing and phone calls in isolation. He was also able to open the Nightingale Hospital in London while he stayed in Scotland. The Prince of Wales was able to give a speech through a virtual platform.

Prince Charles has been using technology to keep abreast of his work and the latest in the fight against coronavirus. His staff set up his virtual office before he arrived in Scotland.

It's unclear how long Prince Charles and Camilla will stay in their country home. But like Queen Elizabeth, the royal couple might not return to London until after May.
