There are only a few remaining episodes for Outlander season 5 and things could get even more intense before it reaches the season finale. Stephen Bonnet is one of the biggest threats here, largely because he could make his presence felt in an unexpected way. There is also a major concern for Brianna, as Bonnet could take her son, Jemmy, away from her.
Before Outlander season 5 ends, Bonnet will possibly come back to cause chaos. This person is capable of hurting a lot of people; he doesn't care about anything and he finds a way to get whatever he wants. The question now is when his presence will be felt and who will find him. For Brianna, she needs to protect herself and Jemmy, especially since Bonnet is possibly planning to take her son.
Brianna has been through a lot in the previous installment, and even though she and Roger got married earlier this season, she's still dealing with her trauma. She already felt scared when she found out that Bonnet, the man who assaulted her, is still alive. She suffered a lot and then got pregnant, and her main priority now is to protect Jemmy.
But unlike before, Bonnet isn't allowed to inflict any more harm to Brianna. Jamie and Claire are there for her, as well as her husband Roger. They'll do everything to protect her and make sure that Brianna would experience again what she's been through in the past. And right now, what they need to do is to be prepared for Bonnet's appearance.
Meanwhile, the previous episode of Outlander season 5, titled "Famous Last Words," delivered a surprise appearance. The episode saw the return of Young Ian; he came back after a long time at the Mohawk village. He becomes completely different this time, given that he's been off with the Mohawk people and established himself as more of a man.
Young Ian's life wasn't easy, he suffered and gone through a lot. Before the episode ends, it was revealed that he loved a woman, but something happened along the way and lost her. He was stranded from the Mohawk, but now back at the Fraser's Ridge to stay. His journey might be featured within the next few episodes, and learn more about what else happened to him before.
