There is little doubt that fans are still mourning the death of Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame. However, it looks like we haven't seen the last of Iron Man just yet. Taika Waititi recently hosted an online watch party for his film Thor: Ragnarok where he somehow revealed the script for his next project. Amazingly, the "script" reveals that Robert Downey Jr. will be back in action in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Fans were understandably devastated when Tony Stark had to face off against Thanos and sacrifice himself to save the world in Avengers: Endgame. Although Tony managed to snap Thanos and his army out of existence, the effect of the Infinity Gauntlet was too much for his human body. Sadly, Iron Man passed away in the arms of his beloved Pepper Potts. But is it possible that Robert Downey Jr. is set to return as the iconic comic book character in an upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick?

Taika Waititi recently hosted an online watch party of the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: Ragnarok which was attended by thousands of fans as well as the stars of the movie. During his Instagram Live, the Jojo Rabbit filmmaker somehow revealed some interesting new details about his next project. At one point, Waititi seemingly shared a glimpse at the script for Thor: Love and Thunder, which is set to be the fourth film focusing on the God of Thunder. Amazingly, the "script" reveals a scene between a resurrected Tony Stark and Thor.

In the Thor: Love and Thunder "script", Thor is reunited with Tony Stark who appears to be "perfectly normal" and "perfectly Tony." After they hug, the Odinson immediately asks how Iron Man is still alive when he saw the latter die in Avengers: Endgame. Tony simply answers, "Science" then reveals that "Thanos is back." From here, the scene just gets weirder.

Tony Stark then touches a button on his watch and he is instantly transformed into Iron Man, albeit in an armor full of decals which are "ALL THE FLAGS OF EVERY NATION ON EARTH." He then tells Thor that "everyone who died is coming back" and that they will be "avenging more than ever." With that, Tony declares that they will now be known as "The Avengererers."

This could have been a hilarious idea for Thor: Love and Thunder. However, it has been revealed that Taika Waititi's "script" for the film is actually a fake. Nevertheless, fans can expect to see the legacy of Tony Stark's sacrifice in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
