Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have been rumored to be feuding on and off the set of their TV series together. This is even though the two have been very vocal about how they adore each other. So what's the truth in their relationship? Is their friendship just for the show?

The Morning Show co-stars are two of Hollywood A-list stars that have a long line of close friends in the industry. But are they real friends too? Many tabloids don't think so.

For instance, OK! previously published a story that Aniston and Witherspoon were blaming each other for the mixed critical reception of the TV series. The Legally Blonde actress, allegedly, regrets her decision to work with Aniston and thinks that she should've worked with someone "more critically acclaimed" like her Big Little Lies co-star Nicole Kidman.

In December, In Touch alleged that the two have been bashing each other to friends after they both got nominations from Golden Globes in the same category. The two shut down the rumor when they presented an award together on stage.

In February, the National Enquirer alleged that Aniston was trying to steal the spotlight from Witherspoon. Gossip Cop checked in with Aniston's rep, who denied the rumor. Jen's rep stressed that the actress adores Reese and the two are excellent co-stars who also love working together.

The reality of their relationship is that Jen and Reese have a long history of friendship. They first met on the set of Aniston's hit series Friends. Witherspoon played the role of Aniston's character Rachel Green's sister, Jill.

"They would change all the lines and she was just so effortlessly affable, bubbly, and sunny. We've been friends ever since," Witherspoon told Natalie Portman in an interview for Harper's Bazaar.

But it didn't stop at their first meeting. In 2011, Elle honored Aniston at their annual "Women in Hollywood Tribute." Witherspoon was the one who stood up and gave a speech about Aniston. She talked about how Murder Mystery actress treated her well throughout the years, and how they are close pals in real life.

On Conan in 2012, Reese admitted that like everybody else, she has a major girl crush on Jen. Two years later, they were spotted attending the Stand Up To Cancer together. Moreover, Aniston and Witherspoon are among the celebrities who helped in launching the Time's Up Movement.
