All members of the British Royal Family took their greetings to social media posting through their official accounts. However, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's are nowhere to be found.
This had seemingly caused many royal watchers and fans to speculate several things about the matter. But, before the theories and "drama" emerged, things were immediately cleared out.
On April 21, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 94th birthday. Unfortunately, all of the royals' plans, including the Trooping the Colour to mark the official birthday of the British Monarch, were either postponed or cancelled. This is why the Royal Family celebrated the day "virtually," as per claims.
According to Elle, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seemingly the only members of the family who did not post anything about the Queen's birthday. The last time they were seen on social media was the day before their official exit.
As explained, part of the reason why their greetings on social media were nowhere to be found is that the Duke and Duchess have no official accounts yet where they can post. As it happened, they are no longer allowed to use the SussexRoyal accounts since they have now ceased to use the word "royal."
Since their official exit on March 31, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have seemingly remained quiet in their new home in Los Angeles. In fact, no one knows exactly where they have relocated.
For all the public knows is that the Duke and Duchess have been observing the social distancing guidelines in the United States amid the COVID-19 crisis in the country. Also, they were, reportedly, gearing up for their plans for their new non-profit organization, Archewell.
Later on the day of the Queen's birthday, however, Evening Standard revealed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry engaged in a video call with Queen Elizabeth II. It was also noted that Archie Harrison was even included in the call.
Sources stated that through the video conference that they set up, they were able to greet the British Monarch on her special day. It was then explained that the call happened later on the day because of the time difference between the United States and the United Kingdom.
Cosmopolitan also updated their reports regarding the matter. The publication said that "there is no drama" as the royal expert, Omid Scobie attested that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just had a video call with the Queen to celebrate her 94th birthday with her despite the distance.
