Kate Middleton and Prince William have been living a very active life given all their dedication toward the British Monarchy. While these things cannot be largely said for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as they have been living their lives privately, also they are not considered senior royals, they have their fair share of dedication and commitment to the British Royal Family.

It may seem that things are going well between the two households. However, unearthed reports revealed that it is likely different, especially between the Duchess of Cambridge and the eldest York Princess. As claimed, there is a huge strain in the relationship between the two royals.

According to Express UK, royal reporter, Catherine Ostler previously published a report revealing when it all started. There were even tears shed during the said event.

Back in 2008, when Kate Middleton and Prince William were still dating, the young Kate, reportedly, hosted a charity disco ball. It was said that Princess Beatrice was not initially invited.

Prior to the charity event, though, an invitation was reportedly extended to the York Princess. However, the sources claimed that she was not aware of the "80s dress code." So, she went to the ball wearing an ordinary dress.

With more than 100 guests at the venue, Princess Beatrice, reportedly, blamed Kate Middleton. It was also noted that she shed tears after.

The unfortunate "outfit mishap" was said to be the emergence of their decade-long rift. But, reports said this was not the only reason why they are not in good terms today.

As per New Idea, following the disco debacle, there was also an incident during the royal's favorite designer, Issa's fashion show. The sources stated that the event saw Kate Middleton and Pippa Middleton, as well as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Seated at the front row, the York Princesses was, reportedly, beside the now-Duchess of Cambridge. However, Prince William's cousins were, reportedly, asked by the organizers to change seats to give way for Pippa Middleton.

It was noted that the royal siblings "refused" to seat in the second row or to give way for Kate's sister. Either way, the publication said a "society girl" who was at the event described the whole thing "pathetic."

In the end, though, the reports contended that Princess Beatrice and Pippa Middleton have appeared to be in good terms now. The Duchess' sister was even reportedly present at the York Princess' engagement party in December. However, Kate Middleton was not seen in the event prompting experts and fans to conclude that the two royals have remained in their alleged dispute all these years.
