Melania Trump has continued her Be Best efforts amid the COVID-19 crisis in the United States. She, reportedly, "gave back" to the community and the public in the midst of the crisis.

However, her efforts have been criticized, again, by several individuals. Many of them also, reportedly, took their criticisms and objections to social media.

Earlier last week, Melania Trump sent "care packages" to hospitals across states. As per the Associated Press, the packages were "shipped" on Thursday to several hospitals in Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. It remains unclear, though, which hospitals exactly were chosen to receive the said packages.

The so-called "care packages", reportedly, contained blankets and caps. It was also noted that these included other "gifts," such as stickers, pencils, backpacks, and Dr. Seuss books.

As stated, the receivers of the packages sent by Melania Trump will be the medical workers and staff of the hospitals, as well as the children, who are patients from these institutions due to the novel coronavirus. The packages also included the logo of the East Wing's initiative, Be Best.

The Washington Examiner said that the First Lady released an official statement about the packages. She, reportedly, said that the gifts are "a small token" of her "appreciation." It was further asserted that Melania also pointed out the "courage and leadership" of the members of the medical community, who has gone "above and beyond to protect" the American public.

Aside from the care packages, it was also revealed that Melania Trump sent out "boxed lunches" for the staff and workers of Trader Joe's. Just like the packages, the boxes also included the logo of Be Best.

While several of Melania's staff and followers were seemingly touting the effort, Express UK shared that the First Lady's effort has been criticized and slammed on social media. Some even, reportedly, deemed it "cheap" and "tacky."

The first waves of criticisms were seemingly targeted on the "boxed lunches." It was said that several netizens saw the effort as a "ridiculous" move given that Trader Joe's is in the food industry. So, giving food to the workers seemed "non-sensical."

These criticisms were immediately followed by another set of strictures toward the "care packages." Most of the comments appeared to have criticized the inclusion of the Be Best logo. Several netizens also, reportedly, poked fun of the boxes and called Melania Trump a "fraud."
