It appeared that boredom is catching up on French football superstar Kylian Mbappe as the end of the coronavirus-induced lockdown is nowhere in sight. The Paris Saint-German striker took to Twitter this week to reveal his sentiments after weeks of not playing the game and amid the relentless talks of supposed transfer to La Liga or the Premier League.

Mbappe declared love for the Parisians in his most recent tweet, which seemed to counter the suggestions that the World Cup winner is looking to exit from Parc des Princes as early as this summer.

"Everyone is talking, but nobody knows. Miss my team," the PSG ace was reported as saying.

He was, of course, referring to his current team, and according to AS, the social media post from the 21-year-old was interpreted in France as a sign that he could be considering a longer stay in French football. Before allowing a peek on what he feels at the moment, Mbappe has been significantly quiet on the subject and mostly brushed off questions of his future football plans.

The hint from him, however, will surely drive up speculations on where he is headed next. One scenario that refuses to die down is the possibility of jumping to Real Madrid, and per the same report, it would seem that the young striker is making preparations for such eventuality.

While he is tied up with PSG until 2022, the club has already initiated extension talks with Mbappe, but no deal has been finalized to date. For many, this was interpreted as his way of entertaining the possibility of switching sides shortly and making sure that the move will be easy for him.

In any case, reports are saying that PSG will not make it easy for any clubs to lure Mbappe away from the French capital. One deterrent available for the Parisians is the player's supposed transfer fee - a whopping £250 million.

AS said the big amount had prompted the Los Blancos to put off making a move on the transfer target and reschedule the bid in 2021.

The same goes for Liverpool, which has identified the world champion as a strong candidate to replace Sadio Mane. It is believed the Senegalese could leave in the summer and join up with Real Madrid, so Mbappe is being eyed by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

However, the prohibitive price to bring the Frenchman to Anfield is a huge turn off for the European Champions, so for now, it will be a wait and see for the Reds, according to Mirror.

For his part, Mbappe has made clear in recent interviews that he is an admirer of the Klopp side and thought that the Reds are "amazing."

"They're like a machine, they've found a rhythm and are like we play again, we play again. They've lost zero games. When you watch you think everything is easy but that's not easy," the Frenchman was reported as saying.
