Prince Harry officially turned his back from being a senior royal to be “financially independent” with Meghan Markle. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared that they intend to spend their new lives outside the Royal family.

But even though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wished to withdraw from being senior royals, they still want to “collaborate” with Queen Elizabeth. After announcing their decision, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s website stated that they would “carve out a progressive new role” and “adjust their working model.”

But after their discussion with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William, it was decided that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will completely step back from royal duties as of spring of 2020. They were also told that they can "no longer formally represent" Her Majesty in their new ventures.

And just like most decisions, theirs also come with a price. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not only lose their HRH titles and the Duke of Sussex’s military title, but they will also be banned from using the word “royal” in their future activities. The couple then released a statement of their own noting that they had no intention of using the “Sussex Royal” brand after they officially leave their roles.

However, a new report revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are still using the brand despite Queen Elizabeth’s ban. The couple previously announced the name of their new foundation, Archewell, but they still have to officially launch their new venture. It was then realized that their Sussex Royal website is still active and it is unclear when they will take it down.

Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex already said their goodbyes to their supporters and have not posted on the account since, royal experts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie discussed the couple possibly angering Queen Elizabeth if they continue to communicate under their SussexRoyal moniker.

"It is funny to me that @SussexRoyal still has 11.3 million followers. I don’t think anyone has dropped off. They did say their goodbyes. Maybe I am being way too hopeful about this,” Roberta Fiorito said. Rachel Bowie then added, “I feel like if they did post there they would be in trouble with the Queen. Because it is still SussexRoyal. They would have to rebrand everything. So they must be in the midst of that. They are in the middle of just launching everything so they are probably just laying low for now.”
