Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has opened a LinkedIn account. After mastering Instagram, Twitter and even YouTube, Fergie, as she is fondly called in public, has set up a professional social media account with an impressive job title and profile picture.

According to People, Fergie listed her job description on LinkedIn as a "spokesperson, author, producer and humanitarian." The Duchess of York also uploaded a very professional portrait where she's in a simple black dress and wearing bright pink nail polish.

Much of Fergie's LinkedIn profile highlights her work with charity for children. She brought focus on the fact that she founded Children in Crisis in 1993, which has built schools, trained thousands of teachers and supported the children's school needs over the years.

Fergie also highlighted her work as a children's book author. Prince Andrew's ex-wife has published over 55 books in total, including two autobiographies.

As a producer, the Duchess of York has worked with American television networks like CNN, NBCABC and FOX. She has also produced specials for BBCITV and Sky in Britain. She regularly contributes to a BBC Radio 2 program.

Fergie's LinkedIn had a little over 20 connections overnight Tuesday but this number is expected to grow as she expands her network. According to reports, Fergie is "excited" to join the professional social media platform.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of York has been keeping herself quite busy despite the coronavirus lockdown. She recently launched a storytime video channel on YouTube to help parents and children affected by the global public health crisis.

To date, Storytime with Fergie and Friends have had over 10 video uploads of celebrities and VIPs reading stories for families. Her daughter, Princess Eugenie, participated in one of the videos but the usually shy and private Princess Beatrice is yet to make an appearance.

Fergie has also been helping out Princess Eugenie as she distributes care packages for the NHS frontliners, who have been sacrificing their lives in this coronavirus crisis. The Duchess of York has been tapping the help of companies to make a donation in kind for the needs of the doctors, nurses and hospital staff.

During this time, Fergie has been isolating at the Royal Lodge, the Windsor home she still shares with her ex-husband. Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank also temporarily moved in with Prince Andrew and Fergie while the lockdown orders are still in place.
