A new video reveals that the iPhone 12 would have a massive display upgrade, significant camera, and Face ID, to name a few.
The latest details about the iPhone 12 come from a fresh video from EverythingApplePro, which features industry insider Max Weinbach. Based on the report, the Cupertino tech giant Apple reportedly tested a 64 MP camera, but due to its poor auto-focus performance, later dropped it. Instead, the upcoming iPhone 12 will feature a 12 MP sensor with up to 2 to 3 times improved auto-focus than the current generation iPhone 11.
Additionally, the video details that this improvement is due to the new LiDAR sensor that would be crucial in enhancing the handset's ability to taking low-light photography. If this is accurate, it means that Apple's upcoming flagship model could be on par with other smartphone brands in terms of refresh rate.
