The Blacklist season 7 finale is set to arrive this week on NBC, with the title "The Kazanjian Brothers." This episode will be partially-animated, given that there's no way to shoot all the needed footage. The network took an alternative approach to finish the last episode this season.

The Blacklist season 7 finale episode title is referenced to the men introduced earlier this season; they are responsible for assisting Katarina's death. In the synopsis, the Task Force investigates an accountant working for lucrative criminals to find the violent and thuggish brothers hired for his protection.

As for Liz, she needs to make a momentous decision. This episode may likely see the character choosing her loyalty between Katarina and Reddington. Liz is in a tight spot at the moment and she needs to make a wise decision before her life falls apart.

There's a huge possibility she'll side with Katarina rather than with Reddington. Later on, she may learn it's not the real Katarina and her relationship with Reddington will be damaged forever. But then, her momentous decision may also have something to do with passing along some key information.

Meanwhile, there have been questions if the late Brian Dennehy's character, Dom, will still appear within this episode. While the actor is no longer here, some reports suggest his famed character is still coming back in the series.

Dom could appear in The Blacklist season 7 finale, yet CarterMatt noted the character may also die within this episode. Perhaps, they wouldn't want to keep the Dom alive since Dennehy isn't around to play the character. The main question this time is what role he would play in his appearances.

Dom still has a lot of stories to tell, which he indicated at the start of the season. His appearance could bring some big revelations, but not the truth about Reddington's identity. There's a possibility he holds some clues about Katarina, as well as what she's looking for.

The Blacklist season 7 finale may still give a better sense of conclusion, despite the potential changes. After this episode airs, viewers may probably need to wait for a long time until season 8 arrives. It's officially happening, but it may not air in fall or early 2021, considering the current global health crisis.

The Blacklist season 7 finale airs on Friday night, May 15, on NBC.
