Comicbook recently released a report that fans are interpreting Geoff Keighley's latest statement as somehow relating to "GTA 6." The report pointed out that the TGA host lately promised fans that a "surprise game reveal" would happen. He even revealed that the unveiling would happen on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, noontime Eastern Time. While Keighley did not mention that it is related to "GTA 6," fans strongly think so since he said that it is going to get gamers excited.
It is highly likely that Geoff Keighley is referring to a different game, but at this point, it is any upcoming game. Meanwhile, some fans recently claimed to have discovered the release year of "GTA 6." A Twitter user named GTAVINews lately shared on his social networking account some findings from the "Grand Theft Auto" community. The discovery was made by some players who were distracted from stealing helicopters in "GTA V" and have noticed a set of doors at the Los Santos International Airport.
Each of these doors is labeled with numbers, which appear to represent the years 2013, 2014, and 2021. These details were supported on Imgur by user VX97 in Oct. 2019. While these numbers could represent anything, for "GTA" fans, these are very significant.
Both 2013 and 2014 are the years when Rockstar Games released the "GTA V" on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and PS4 and Xbox One. Since these years are the release years of the current generation "GTA" instalment, some fans believe that the date 2021 could be reserved to "GTA 6." While it is just a speculation, it seems to align with the latest theory that the announcement of the much-anticipated sequel might happen on May 12, 2020.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that fans theorized about the possible launch date, release year, and release window of "GTA 6." The past years were filled with leaks and theories related to the release window of the game.
