Evander Holyfield is another famed boxer that has plans to return to the ring although for a good cause. He comes not long after Mike Tyson gained attention with the former boxer showed off on social media some of his recent training. One thing both former boxing champions share is that they are ready to don their trunks again for a good cause.

Holyfield has plans to return to the ring for charity. However, his target opponent is another former champion in Riddick Bowe. Though both had their wars in the past, they are now best buddies. For "The Real Deal," it would be best to share the ring with someone you trust and get along with, not to mention someone who would be easy to stage a fight with, TMZ Sports reported.

But for some, a third fight with Tyson would make more sense. It would appeal more considering their last meeting in 1997 ended in controversy. For those who may not know, this was the celebrated "Bite Fight" where Tyson bit off a portion of Holyfield's ear. It was a rematch done a year after Holyfield defeated Iron Mike.

For Holyfield, past is past. He has gotten along with Tyson since that time and both are in good terms. And as far as getting it on in the ring for the third time, the 57-year-old is ready if Tyson is willing.

"It wouldn't bother me to do so. I'm always thinking that the person who takes care of themselves well, they're the ones that tend to last even though I'm four years older than him. It would be no problem," Holyfield said.

The chances of that happening are looming large. After showing off his videos, it did not take long for several groups to pitch offers to Tyson on a possible boxing match. There were offers for him to fight against some guys over in Australia and another in a controversial Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship opposite Shannon Briggs. Tyson made it clear that if ever he does fight again, it would be against a legitimate boxer. He feels that facing someone else who is not is a disrespect to the sport.

So far, the highest offer to Tyson was the one from Australia at $20 million. There is no telling how much a Tyson vs. Holyfield match would make. But seeing two boxers over their 50s slugging it out once more may draw divided opinions, some concerned that both fighters may end up getting seriously hurt.
