BTS Jin's fans now have even more reasons to stan the eldest BTS member. He recently gifted his parents with a luxurious home in Hannam The Hill which costs 4.2 billion won or USD$3.4 million.
According to a report by All Kpop, Jin owned the property with his parents on paper but he finally transferred the remainder of the ownership to his parents last April 27. With the transfer, Jim turned over the remaining 35 percent of the property to his mother and father, dividing the shares between his two parents.
It can be recalled that Jin first purchased his home at Hannam the Hill in 2018 for 1.87 billion won (USD$1.52 million) but sold the property and upgraded to a larger unit in 2019.
Among other top celebrities who reside in Hannam, The Hill are Lee Seung Chul, Han Hyo Joo, and Choo Ja Hyun.
Fans were delighted to hear about Jin's thoughtful gesture and praised him for being a good son. However, hardcore stans were not surprised by his actions because of the way he treated his members over the years which indicated his strong family values.
Jin, who is known for being the eldest member of BTS and a hyung to RM, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, has taken good care of his group from their debut until the present, Koreaboo reported.
While he is constantly teased by his members because of his goofy attitude and dad jokes, BTS were unanimous in saying that they appreciated and looked up to Jin as a big brother.
According to RM, Jin takes a lot of the burden off his shoulders as the group's leader as he often steps up to take charge of the younger members when things get too rowdy.
J-Hope said that Jin is an excellent source of wisdom and gives him sound advice when he is unable to make a decision. V, who is known to be extremely sweet and protective of Jin, said their eldest member often gathers their ideas and organizes them to be presented to Big Hit management.
Suga, who is only three months younger than Jin but he acknowledged that there are times that he feels like Jin is much older.
"He and I are only three months apart... but when he takes care of the members, in so many ways, [he feels like a hyung]," Suga said.
As for the maknae line of Jimin and Jungkook, they love Jin the most when he is being his goofy self. Jimin said that when Jin is playful, he makes members feel at ease even when the pressure gets to them. Jungkook, for his part feels like he can joke around with Jin freely because of his character.
