The public has seen Prince William and Prince Harry grow up together and witnessed their close bond. But just like any other siblings, the royal brothers also have some ups and downs.

During an interview for the ITV documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, the Duke of Sussex seemingly confirmed all the speculations that he and Prince William may be feuding. Prince Harry opened up that he and his older brother were on “different paths,” igniting the rift rumors even more.

Now, a new report revealed that Prince William and Prince Harry may finally be healing from their feud. Royal expert Katie Nicholl shared that the brothers are chatting on video calls after the Duke of Sussex moved to Los Angeles with Meghan Markle and their son Archie.

"There have been clearly some quite major rifts in that relationship, but things have got better and I know that William and Harry are in touch on the phone,” she said. “They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch.”

Katie Nicholl shared that Prince Harry has been feeling homesick and felt that reconnecting with Prince William during that moment was the “right time.” The royal expert also added that the tension between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle has cooled down as well.

"I think there is a sense of relief on both sides that this high drama is now a thing of the past. The Sussexes are free to get on with their new lives and the Cambridges can get back to their old lives without all the upset and drama that was clearly a big deal behind the scenes,” she continued. “I think Kate and William miss Harry and Meghan to a degree, but certainly they miss Harry [being] around and part of their lives. I am quite sure there would have been communication between the Cambridges and the Prince of Wales and I am told Harry picks up the phone regularly to his grandmother, the Queen."

Meanwhile, a 2018 biography of Angelina Levin “Harry: Conversations with the Prince” reminded everyone of Prince William and Prince Harry’s close relationship and revealed the pair’s “brother bonding.”

The princes decided to share a cottage together when they took part in the RAF training in Shrewsbury in 2009. During an interview, they showed their “comedy duo act” as they shared their experiences at the time.

Prince William and Prince Harry are known for their very relatable brotherly bickering. The interview was like a breath of fresh air, especially for those who have been following their journey. The brothers don’t have many interactions anymore, which needs a lot of getting used to.
