Before Meghan Markle joined the royal family, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry were known as the “Royal Trio.” The young royals share an extremely close bond and they are often seen at royal engagements having a good laugh. When the former actress became a part of the mix in 2018, their “Royal Trio” became the “Royal Fab Four.”
While the Cambridges and Sussexes worked really well at first, many have noticed that their bond slowly became less close. In fact, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle removed themselves from their joint foundation with Prince William and Kate Middleton, seemingly confirming a feud.
Prince Harry then subtly confirmed the rift last October in an ITV documentary. The Duke of Sussex opened up about his relationship with Prince William and said, “We’re certainly on different paths at the moment, but I will always be there for him as I know he’ll always be there for me.”
Now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took things to a new level and removed themselves from being senior royals. That being said, the hopes for a “Royal Fab Four” comeback went down the drain.
But a new report claims that the “Royal Fab Four” may be revived. This time, however, the team will have a Prince Harry and Meghan Markle replacement.
For International Nurses Day, Kate Middleton, who is the Patron of the Evelina London Children's Hospital, and Patron of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, among others, joined forces with Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who is the Global Ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, and Colonel-in-Chief of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, to speak to nurses in seven different commonwealth countries. Both women obviously have strong connections to the medical world.
Royal fans quickly praised Kate Middleton and Sophie’s team-up. Many were impressed with their bond, which led to the possibility that a new “Royal Fab Four” may be on the horizon.
“Seeing Kate and Sophie together on the video calls reminded me of so many of their fun times, they really do have such a close bond,” one tweeted. Kate Middleton and Sophie, Countess of Wessex are helping to make our world a better place to live. Thank you,” another one wrote. “We need so much more of Kate and Sophie together,” one royal fan noted.
So will Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Edward, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, be the new “Royal Fab Four”?
