Adele shocked the world with her major body transformation which she revealed on her 32nd birthday earlier this month. Fans began buzzing about how the singer had a dramatic weight loss.

Reports have it that the "Hello" hitmaker has lost weight by quitting smoking while also cutting down on drinking as well her sugar and processed food intake. It has also been rumored for years that Adele has been following a meal plan based on the book The Sirtfood Diet. Kate Middleton's sister, Pippa, and boxer Connor McGregor have, reportedly, used the same diet.

According to Aidan Goggins, one of the creators of the diet, the Sirtfood diet is based on activating the sirtuin genes instead of focusing on weight loss. Sirtuins are proteins that are from a family of enzymes. Once activated, they respond to stress and metabolism.

"With Sirtfoods we can only reap the benefits through eating, and this means indulging in your favorite foods, not a restriction," Goggins said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Dominique Fradin-Read shared some tips for healthy ways of losing weight. According to Us Weekly, Fradin-Read has worked with Adele though the doctor did not confirm nor deny that she has personal or professional interaction with the "Skyfall" singer because of moral and legal reasons.

Nonetheless, the techniques that she shares with the patients are interestingly different. Fradin-Read said she always tells her patients that when it comes to shedding pounds, diet and exercise alone are not enough in many cases.

She said for a successful and sustainable weight loss, they look into the entire person and not just address the weight problem upfront. Fradin-Read said they normally look into the patient's habits, metabolic function, hormones, thyroid and cortisol levels, and mental health before they do a personalized diet and recommend exercise routine.

Fradin-Read added that there is no one-fits-all diet and there is no constant diet for the same person. Hence, she provides meal plans that focus on balance, flexibility, and personalization. Dr. Fradin-Read stressed that the same diet might not work for everyone and not even for the same person for the rest of his life.

Meanwhile, Adele's fans are still waiting for her new album. In February, the singer revealed that her fourth album will be released in September 2020. However, it could be pushed back to 2021 because of the current coronavirus pandemic.
