Dating scandals are nothing new for EXO's Kai and he is now the subject of yet another dating rumor - this time with TWICE's Dahyun.

According to a report by Kpopstarz, fans were recently surprised by rumors that EXO's Kai was in a relationship with TWICE's Dahyun. The news stemmed from a now-deleted Facebook post which claimed that the two idols were dating and that their agencies, SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment already released statements confirming their dating status.

Dahyun is not the only TWICE member to be involved in dating news as JYP Entertainment confirmed that leader Jihyo was dating Kang Daniel since last year. Japanese member Momo and Super Junior's Kim Heechul were also the first Kpop couple to confirm their relationship this year.

However, fans were not quite convinced about the dating rumors between Kai and Dahyun because of the lack of evidence to support the claims.

EXO-Ls and ONCEs took to social media to share their thoughts on the issue. While some fans were open to the idea of Kai and Dahyun being in a relationship, there were more who expressed suspicion over the source of the information since SM and JYP did not officially release any statement on the matter.

"@SMTOWNGLOBAL and @jypnation DID NOT release any statement about DAHYUN and KAI dating. In conclusion, the dating news is NOT REAL and it's NOT even a huge rumor. Only a few fans are spreading this information base on their IMAGINATION. Please stop making stuff like these. It's annoying," one fan said amid those who are asking fellow fans to stop spreading unverified information.

It can be recalled that in 2016, news broke that Kai and f(x) Krystal were dating after their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship. The two started out as friends under the same agency but developed feelings for each other as they grew closer from working together. Their relationship lasted for a year before they went their separate ways, Koreaboo reported.

In 2019, Dispatch revealed the relationship between Kai and BLACKPINK's Jennie which reportedly lasted for four months before the couple decided t call it quits in January 2019.  No further details were given about the reason for the split but SM Entertainment said that the two idols have confirmed their break up and pledged to remain supportive of each other. It was believed that the busy schedules of Jennie and Kai may have played a part in her decision to break up.
