Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have been very candid about their married life in the recent talks and interviews that they had. The couple opened up about the regrets they feel before and after they got married.
Bieber admitted that if he could go back time, he would save himself for marriage. During a recent episode of their new Facebook Watch series, titled The Biebers on Watch, the couple answered some questions from their viewers.
One fan asked if there was anything they would want to change about their past. The "Stuck With U" singer took the opportunity to talk about sex before marriage.
Justin said he doesn't regret anything in his life because all of it made him who he is now. However, the "Yummy" singer said if he did not have to face the struggles and pain that he went through in the past, he would like to save himself for marriage.
The Canadian pop star admitted that it sounded crazy hearing it from him. Baldwin, on the other hand, has different opinions about the matter.
The model said she is not sure if she would have remained celibate before exchanging wedding vows. Hailey, however, agreed with her husband and said being physical with someone can make things more confusing.
Meanwhile, in her separate interview with her church Hillsong's YouTube channel, Baldwin admitted that she struggled with the guilt in the first few months of marriage to Bieber. Hailey explained that it was because she used to have a running theme in her life and that was like playing the role of a good girl.
However, Baldwin said leading up to being married, she finds that role more unrealistic to maintain. She said there were things that she wished she never had done.
The 23-year-old model said she wished she had a free and clean slate before her wedding. But she learned that it is not realistic to remain a "good girl" and she is not the only one who feels guilty or ashamed for things they did in the past.
Hailey said she later learned that every mistake that she made herself feel guilty about leads her to being married and a wife to Bieber. The model believed that though she made some bad decisions in the past, it doesn't have to define her relationship and who she is.
Hailey did not mention any incident that she regretted doing. However, some fans speculate that it could be the instances that she fired back on some haters who bullied her on social media instead of ignoring them.
