Prince William and Kate Middleton are providing a "dose of entertainment" to royal fans amid the coronavirus crisis. A royal expert said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are opening up their private lives and "letting their guard down" as they feature in regular Zoom calls every week.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl said that Prince William and Kate have been sharing some interesting tidbits about their life in these Zoom meetings. The royal couple has been honest about their life in quarantine and the ups and downs of homeschooling and isolating with their kids.

Kate shared in one Zoom call that she had to trick Prince George and Princess Charlotte about having classes despite school being on an Easter break. Prince William also shared that they have been doing a lot of video calls with friends and family, which isn't also easy when there is a two-year-old pressing everything on the computer.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge admitted that they are liking these Zoom meetings because they get a lot more done for their charities. Prince William and Kate said that the video calls are more in-depth as they can have one-on-one conversations with their patronages without worrying about the time limit, compared to in-person meetings.

Prince William and Kate are also showing royal fans how normal they are by sharing these conversations on their social media pages. Some say that chatting with the Cambridges is just like chatting with regular people; it's easy to forget they are royals.

Meanwhile, Prince William revealed in a recent Zoom meeting that mealtimes may sometimes become a struggle at House Cambridge. The Duke of Cambridge said that it's can be challenging to feed his kids -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Princess Louis, depending on what's the food at the table.

The royal pair also opened up about parenting in this pandemic. Kate said that Prince George, who is turning seven years old in July, has a lot of questions. He and Princess Charlotte, who is five, are aware of what's going on but their parents are careful not to scare them.

Kate said that she and Prince William have talked about the virus with the two older children in "age-appropriate ways." The Cambridge family are isolating in Norfolk at their country home, Anmer Hall. They are several minutes away from Queen Elizabeth, who is staying with Prince Philip at Windsor Castle.
