BTS V is the king of many things. He had been crowned a Visual King, a Sold Out King, a Fashion King, and most recently, he also earned the title Fancam king.
According to a report by All Kpop, V, who is also known to his fans by his real name of Kim Taehyung, earned the monicker after the M2 fancam for his Boy with Luv reached 120 million views, making it the most-watched and most liked fancam of all time on YouTube.
V's Remind 2019, Hello 2020 also remains on the top of Naver's most popular videos. To prove that Taehyung is indeed, a fancam king, ARMYs recently checked out how his fancam videos have been performing on streaming platforms.
It was not surprising that there were at least five of V's fancams that have surpassed 10 million views.
Among the fancams that broke the 10 million views mark was his MCountdown performance for ON, which was a recent entry. Mnet videos for DNA, Airplane PT2, and the popular Mic Drop performance from PIERCE also achieved the milestone. Collectively, the five videos, including the Boy with Luv fancam, raked in a total of 178 million views.
There is also another entry that is poised to reach the 10 million mark. This comes from his performance of Pied Piper for the 5th Muster Magic Shop in June 2019. The video is currently at 9.9 million views.
V has proven his popularity in streaming platforms in previous months. It can be recalled that out of YouTube's list of 100 Most Popular Videos, 12 of these are from Kim Taehyung.
Apart from his appeal and charisma while performing, V has also earned praise for his visuals. Most recently, V was named the Most Handsome Man in the World by popular entertainment vlog Top10 World.
V's visuals topped the list which included former One Direction member Zayn Malik, Twilight star Robert Pattinson, Avengers star Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, and Aaron Taylor Johnson, as Hollywood actor Tom Cruise.
V has established a reputation for his keen sense of fashion. Just this January, he topped the list of Top 5 Men in Fashion as he ranked higher than international stars like Nick Jonas, Michael B Jordan, and Harry Styles.
BTS V was lauded for mixing up his airport styles as well as taking bold choices by experimenting with different colors and prints. He is also known to wear subdued colors when others are wearing louder hues, making him stand out on every occasion.
