Bradley Beal is not losing sleep on the talks that he could be out of Washington soon. His focus is to play his best for the Wizards but the shooting guard admitted the rumors pointing to a trade with the Brooklyn Nets gave him excitement. Beal said he felt respected that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving want to play with him.

The attention given was not strange at all. Beal is a certified superstar with the Wizards and his partnership with John Wall led to good things for the team although the squad is hampered by 24-40 record.

Before the season was suspended by the COVID-19 pandemic, Beal scored over 50 in two consecutive games against the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks. In doing so, Beal is now in league with Kobe Bryant but ESPN said the feat was overshadowed by the fact that the Wizards were defeated on both occasions.

There are suggestions he could be seeking for a new team that will help win him titles but Beal assured he is staying.

"When you hear that Kyrie [Irving] and [Kevin Durant] want you ... that's amazing. At the same time, you don't know how much there is to it, or how easy it would be to do," the shooting guard said about the reports of the Nets looking to acquire him.

However, Beal has made clear that jumping to another team is not in his mind. He is determined to work with the Wizards and start picking up more wins with the crew he is working with now."

"I've put down roots in D.C. I've dedicated myself to this town, this community. I love it here," said the Wizards star.

Another one big reason Beal is sticking with the team is Wall. Yahoo Sports said Wall, sidelined since December 2018 due to injury woes, was on road to full recovery even before the pause forced on NBA games.

Beal reported that Wall has already practiced with the Wizards and even managed a dunk during a session. The latter's progress of recovery and his current top-form served as an encouragement to the team.

Beal said seeing Wall ready to return to action is firing up his teammates and they are more determined to give their best when the games are resumed.

"My biggest thing right now is that I want to play with John [Wall] again," Beal declared.

These are the words that the Wizards can hang on to at the moment and hope that Beal would leave up to them. But certainly the promise of loyalty, of course, will not keep the star from wanting better opportunities as seen with LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Anthony Davis before.
