The coronavirus outbreak has been a huge blow on the entertainment industry as the pandemic forced every film and TV show in production to be put on hold. Sadly, one of these shows happens to be The Walking Dead Season 10, which had not completed production on the final episode. Although the season finale will have to resume production once the lockdowns are lifted, the cast of the AMC series are already hyping up what could happen later this year. For instance, Norman Reedus has just compared the episode to Game of Thrones.

There is little doubt that The Walking Dead Season 10 has been a shocking one even for hard-core fans who have been following the series from the start. In the tenth season, Negan somehow decided to abandon the Alexandrians and joined the Whisperers although it took a lot of effort to convince Alpha to take him in. However, it turns out that Negan had an ulterior motive for wanting to stay close to the villainous leader. Once he gained her trust, Negan killed Alpha by decapitating her and taking her head to Carol, who was confirmed to have planned Alpha's murder all along.

Needless to say, things are about to get crazy in The Walking Dead Season 10 especially when Alpha's right hand man Beta discovers that she has been killed. The Whisperers are now set to attack the Alexandrians and there is little doubt that the upcoming battle will be huge. Not surprisingly, the cast of the AMC show are already hyping up the epic war.

Norman Reedus recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly where he confirmed that fans can expect a huge war is coming in The Walking Dead Season 10 finale. "It's going to be an epic battle," Reedus said. "It's like a full-on Game of Thrones super war battle."

The comparison is certainly awesome considering that Game of Thrones was known for its huge battles. For instance, the highly publicized Battle of the Bastards involved thousands of extras and real horses. Although it's unlikely that The Walking Dead Season 10 will feature horses, fans can expect a major war is coming later this year.

The Walking Dead Season 10 finale has not yet been given an official release date since it is still unclear when the COVID-19 lockdowns on film productions will be lifted. Nevertheless, fans are already expecting to see the final episode of the current season later this year.
