Desperate to secure the transfer of Kylian Mbappe the soonest, Los Blancos have reportedly made an interesting offer to Paris Saint-Germain - the Parisians will get Eden Hazard at no cost. In exchange, Real Madrid will be getting the French striker at a considerably reduced price with the deal likely to be finalized in 2021.

Hazard struggled with injuries in his first season at the Bernabeu, but he still managed to impress Real boss Zinedine Zidane. However, the Spanish giants are thought to be more interested in adding Mbappe to their roster, and club executives have reportedly approved a planned swap deal that involves the 29-year-old Belgian heading to France in June next year.

The Sun reported that with Hazard on the table, PSG could be convinced to seal a deal on Mbappe and provide a discount at the same time. It is estimated that the French club's asking price for the World Cup winner would be no lower than £200 million, which Real would want to shrink at a more affordable level.

Hazard was acquired by Bernabeu in 2019, and the Spaniards paid £88 million for the former Chelsea star. If the proposed exchange would interest PSG, then Real should be steps closer in signing the sought-after Frenchman, added the report, citing the story published by Spanish publication Diario Gol.

It would seem that this latest move from Real, if true, will expedite the rumored jump of Mbappe to Real, which is said to be the football club he followed religiously as a young kid. However, the same report indicated that the 21-year-old could sign for another year at Parc des Princes provided the Parisians will clear his transfer at the conclusion of next season's campaign.

PSG will want to win the Champions League with Mbappe still on the Ligue 1 side, and it appeared Mbappe is on board for that to happen. So even if the Hazard offer would prove tempting for the Parisians, the Bernabeu side will need to wait out until next year before the French striker's signature.

Meanwhile, Premier League legend Alan Shearer is appealing to the young PSG ace to ignore the lure of becoming a Galactico. England is the way to go for the rising superstar, according to the former Newcastle star.

"I would very much like Kylian Mbappe to come. With his skill, the confidence he has in someone so young, and all the goals he scores, that would be a big plus for the Premier League," Goal reported Shearer as saying.

Unsurprisingly, Shearer, who remains the Premier League's scoring champion with his 260 goals, recommended that Mbappe should join up with Newcastle. Reports are saying, however, that if the Frenchman will head to England, his most likely destination is Liverpool.
