Prince William and Kate Middleton are two of the most well-loved and popular members of the Royal Family. But despite that, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are not exempted from getting criticisms and unnecessary comments from the media.

In fact, a new report revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to sue Tatler magazine for the "cruel, sexist, and woman-shaming" reporting in its "Catherine the Great" article. The said magazine even criticized the Duchess of Cambridge’s weight and claimed that she already had a fall out with Meghan Markle before the former actress's wedding with Prince Harry in 2018.

Kensington Palace quickly denied all the claims and have issued a strong rebuke of the article saying that it has a "swathe of inaccuracies and false representations.” The Palace sent legal letters on behalf of Kate Middleton to have the article taken down.

One of the claims from ”Catherine the Great" article was that Kate Middleton, allegedly, feels "exhausted and trapped" as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal exit left her with an increasing workload. An insider even said that the Duchess of Cambridge is “furious” about taking more obligations.

Another source added that Prince William and Kate Middleton have always been hands-on parents and it seems like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t consider this when they decided to turn their backs on being senior royals. While the Sussexes are enjoying more time with their family after their withdrawal, a lot of time was taken away from the Cambridges.

"There is no truth to their claim that the Duchess feels overwhelmed with work, nor that the Duke is obsessed with Carole Middleton,” a royal source told The Mail. "It's preposterous and downright wrong."

However, Tatler stands by the report. The magazine even claimed that Kensington Palace knew that it is running the "Catherine the Great" article months ago.

Meanwhile, a previous report claimed the opposite of the Tatler article. Royal expert Ingrid Seward said that Prince William and Kate Middleton “are far more relaxed and comfortable” after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal exit.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have ramped up their royal duties during the coronavirus pandemic while Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles remain in isolation. The situation leaves Prince William, who is the second in line to the British throne, to face the heavy burden but he and Kate Middleton are believed to be ready for the obligation even without the help of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
