It seems that fans just can't seem to get enough of Park Seo Joon content after he starred in this year's JTBC hit drama Itaewon Class because their love gave him the honor of being the first Korean actor to receive a YouTube Gold Play Button.

While Park Seo Joon has always been one of the most popular Korean actors of his generation, he further rose to fame after playing the role of the ultimate underdog Park Saeroyi in the JTBC drama.

As a result of his skyrocketing fame, fans wanted to see more and more content from Park Seo Joon. Luckily, he already started vlogging to share his downtime moments with friends and family as well as activities he does when he is not filming. Not surprisingly, Park Seo Joon quickly reached one million subscribers on his channel.

Last June 1, the actor held a special unboxing live stream of his Gold Play Button from YouTube, an honor given to creators who reach the milestone. In his message,  he shared the credit with his staff who help him create content for the channel. He said that they were the ones who worked tirelessly to edit his videos, so even if he didn't do much, he was able to share a lot of moments with fans and was able to receive the honor.

It can be recalled that Park Seo Joon only lunched his YouTube channel in July 2019 so it meant that he was able to achieve the milestone in less than a year.

Meanwhile, fans can expect more content from Park Seo Joon, moving forward. After concluding  Itaewon Class, he has started filming the movie Dream where he stars opposite IU.

Dream, which will be helmed Extreme Jobs director Lee Byung Hun will revolve around a ragtag group of people who will participate in an international soccer event called the Homeless World Cup, Soompi reported.

In the film, Park Seo Joon will take on the role of Yoon Hong Dae, a professional soccer player who is tasked to coach the misfit bunch of players as part of his disciplinary probation. As he gets closer to the players on his team, he develops a genuine love for them and rallies them to become champions.

IU plays the role of Lee So Min, a producing director who wants to achieve success by filming a documentary about Hong Dae's team. This will be IU's first time to star in a film after appearing in several successful dramas like Scarlet Heart Ryeo and Hotel del Luna.

Apart from Park Seo Joon and IU, Lee Hyun Woo will also be starring in the team to play the role of one of the soccer players. Park Seo Joon and Lee Hyun Woo are under the same agency and he also worked with IU on her You and I MV, as well as its sequel Above the Time.
